Safe Environment Program
Contact: Deacon Randy Engel (972) 231-2951 x1008
The Safe Environment Program ensures that the parish, in compliance with Diocesan guidelines, is providing a healthy and safe environment for children and vulnerable adults, especially the elderly.
Membership: All staff and those volunteers who serve in ministries that have contact with children or vulnerable adults. Each person must go through a process that includes filling out a screening form, being interviewed, providing references, and undergoing an annual training. Criminal background checks are performed periodically.
Meetings: Meetings are usually in the form of training sessions for staff and volunteers. The training room is normally Room 123 PC.
