Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion reverently distribute the Eucharist (the Body and Blood of Christ) at the anticipated Mass for Sunday on Saturday evening, at all the Sunday Masses, on holy days of obligation and at other special celebrations of the Mass such as Confirmation.

Membership: Members must be confirmed, active Roman Catholics and parishioners. Those interested in becoming a member must fill out an application. They will be contacted to schedule training and can begin serving after being commissioned. Members serve at a Mass of their choosing. Each Mass has a captain who is responsible for the ministers at that Mass. Normally, there are two teams of ministers who serve on alternate weeks. Each team meets before Mass for a brief prayer.

Meetings: Once a year at the annual Ministry Day.
