Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place during the 12:15 p.m. Sunday Mass from September to May. Children (from kindergarten through 6th grade) are called forward by the presider and invited to the Eucharistic Chapel to listen to the readings as adapted in the Children’s Lectionary. The regular order of the Liturgy of the Word is followed, including a sung psalm, the Gospel alleluia, etc. Children rejoin their parents in the sanctuary at the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Vacation Bible School

During one week in the summer, a Vaction Bible School is offered for children in pre-K (4 years old) through 6th grade. Adult volunteers staff all of these programs. The volunteers must: comply with the Diocesan Safe Environment Program guidelines; enjoy sharing their faith with our younger parishioners; and be available to make a regular commitment to class sessions and training.

Here is an adult volunteer form.
