Response to why there is a login button. The login button is for those who require access to parts of the web site that are not accessible to the general public. For example, members of the Saint Vincent de Paul ministry have sensitive information about clients they need access to over the web that the public should not see. Others use a login to help administer the web site. Those who head ministries for example can login to update their ministry information. As far as providing an explanation for the login button... this website feedback should do it. However, you do bring up a good point with regard to the differences between a user registering to become a perishioner and registering to be able to login to the web site. I will clarify that on the Parish Registration page. Submitted By: Ken Steponaitis

Login What does one gain by using the Login button and setting up a userid and password? I can find no explanation for anyone to consider using same. If it is there, I can not find same. A new family can register at St. Joseph by clicking on Parish Registraion under the Home button. A family provides all necessary personal information including email address so as to register as a St. Joseph parishioner. Usually on web sites that requires that you login will allow that person to view personal information. Before you can check how much money is in your checking account; you need to have registered on the bank web site and have established a personal userid and password. Why the Login button? There needs to be a statement somewhere that explains this button and why a parishioner should register on the website. Submitted By: Isaac Sandoval

Prayers of the Faithful at Mass I want to compliment whoever writes the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass...at the Masses this week, the prayer for the Muslim community getting ready to celebrate their holy week (or day?), Ramadan, was such a beautiful, loving, inclusive expression to a group that is being maligned so much right now (e.g. building of mosque near the World Trade Ctr). And this is not the first time that I have listened to very caring expressions of love during this part of the Mass on very topical, timely issues. I would like to let the writer know that their message each week is very refreshing, truly Christian, & appreciated in a very hostile world & national environment these days. Keep up the good work! Music ministry I noticed the info from the previous site about music ministry has not yet been posted on the new site. When it is could we please make the following changes: The children's choir rehearsal is on Wednesday from 5- 5:45pm How do I join? Adults should contact either Jim Norris(972 530 6002) or Lucia Cunningham(972 276 7450) to set up a brief interview. All children and youth simply need to come to a rehearsal(The remaining part about always looking for additional members should stay the same) Thank you Submitted By: Jim Norris

Response to "Still No Bulletin" You can find the bulletin under the Worship & Events menu option. I should point out that sometimes the latest bulletin is not available until well into the work week. However, you will have a bulletin available that is no older than 2 weeks. Submitted By: Webmaster

Response to Baptism To schedule baptisms call the main office. They will direct you. But a good point has been made. We need a more direct way to find that information. We will work on that. Submitted By: Webmaster

So far so good I had NO, absolutely no problems logging in. It was fast and easy. It was intuitive. I'll let you know how it goes, as I get further into the SVDP files. thanks, Linda Kindel Submitted By: Linda Kindel
